Our carers are experienced and fully trained, according to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines. All of our carers are also DBS checked and references are verified. They receive regular supervision with additional training offered, if and when required.

Our supported living services provide innovative and person-centred support enabling people with autism, learning disabilities, mental health illnesses and challenging behaviours to live as independently as possible within their own homes and in the local community..
The support provided is person-centred and specifically tailored to meet every unique need, underpinned by our philosophy that every individual has the right to live the life they choose for themselves.

The right care and support
The second step is to identify resources to provide the best care and support and create an overall plan.
Running our own lives is complicated enough, but trying to take care of someone else requires even more organisation and planning! Things will run more smoothly if you work together with other members of the family, close friends and care professionals.
With the person’s agreement, arrange a meeting and create a working plan. A face to face meeting is an ideal opportunity to share information, agree what needs to happen and assign tasks and responsibilities. For example, who will be the link with the social worker? Who will contact the GP? Consider establishing an on line support community so that everyone is kept up to date without the need for several individual conversations
Carefully think about what you are realistically able to do so that you do not put too much strain on yourself. If you live further away, you may find it easier to take on liaison tasks leaving day to day practical caring support for family and friends who live closer

They allowed him his dignity and followed his wishes throughout their care, even at times when that was making their job more difficult. Nothing was to much trouble for them. We would not have got through the last few weeks without their support and kindness. Not only did they give my Dad the best care, but they supported my sister and myself, at a time when we were struggling too
